The Tanzania Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness Centre (TECC) is an established Trust Body and successor of the Business Development Gateway (BDG) and Cluster Competitiveness Projects implemented from 2008 to 2013 as part of the Private Sector Competitiveness Programme (PSCP). Carrying over its successful model and methodology, TECC serves as a public-private-academia partnership between the National Economic Empowerment Council, Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH), and the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) and is charged with promoting entrepreneurial innovation and competitiveness as the centre of excellence in Tanzania.


Cluster Initiative Promotion

TECC is involved in the training of cluster development experts, cluster level innovation,facilitators, cluster leaders and in the mapping of clusters where this expertise will be utilized.

As an instrumental organization in spurring private sector development, TECC is a rallying point for institutional networking and focal point for entrepreneurship development in the country.
